Producer/director George Flanigen was tapped again to create the promo for the 58th Annual CMA Awards that he was set to produce for ABC-TV, November 20, 2024. George called on me to create the storyboard for the :60 promo. He explained that the promo would be a fun way to announce that Lainey Wilson would be joining Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning as hosts of the CMA Awards. George and I went through all the potential shots to focus on the personalities of the three stars and show how much fun the three of them will bring to the show. The main 'gag' would be Lainey surprising Luke and Peyton when she pops up from the back of the vintage convertible.
